Hi, I’m Laura — an abstract artist originally from Lithuania, now living in the beautiful Hampshire countryside.
I have always had the urge to create. From an early age, something lit up inside me whenever I picked up a paintbrush, and my school art teacher saw it too. But like many others, I was told time and again that ‘artists don’t make money’, and I never had the support to truly pursue it. So, I followed a different path for a while.
It wasn’t until I left London and moved to the countryside that something shifted. Slower mornings, open skies, and space to breathe unlocked a sense of inspiration I hadn’t felt in years. My beloved dog Alfie became my muse. His energy, our long walks together, the deep connection to the land — all of it began to pour out onto the canvas.
Alfie has sadly passed now, after 15 beautiful years, but I carry his spirit with me in everything I create. My art is rooted in emotion, memory, and nature. It’s about creating pieces that bring warmth and joy into everyday spaces — pieces that feel like home.
Thank you for being here. I’m so excited to share more of this journey with you.
